Food For Thought - Day 2

Today we looked at the Ingredients  and the Nutrition information on a packet.
Less ingredients is healthier, the more in the packet the more processed it is.
Top three ingredients have the highest content in the packet. E.g. Raro sugar is the first so a packet of Raro is mostly sugar.

Look for average per 100g
A serving size can vary, so not not always the best option to compare.


Fruit is healthy because of the fibre, when you squeeze it you lose the fibre, so less healthy because still has sugar and no fibre that helps our body to process the sugar.

5 teaspoons of sugar is all the sugar we should have, this affects our teeth.

Some drinks have caffeine, as it makes our heart pumps and keeps us awake. Caffeine also stops the calcium's work to strengthen our bones and protect our teeth enamel.
